Vincent Chi-wai ChiangVincent Chiang's design philosophy is simple: to achieve balance between beauty, function and cost (including environmental). Born in Hong Kong, Chiang received a degree in interior architecture at Middlesex University London and went on to work in the R&D department of Steve Leung Designers after graduation. Leaving to co-found his own design firm, In Cube Design, Chiang has been a Professional Member of the International Interior Design Association and International Furnishings and Design Association since 2008. With more than 15 years' experience in interior design and project management, Chiang's strength is in space planning. He has handled over 300 interior design projects, including the series of Shanghai PoPo 360 and luxury houses in Hong Kong. If asked which is his favourite project, his reply is always 「the next one」.

Inspired by The Hyper Realist Salvador Dali, designer develops a surreal interior space from the real. Artistic touchup in every corner makes the cafe an art gallery to hit the class of Japanese Dessert Master. The elegant style, with girlish and delighted tone paints the cafe with romantic colour. Ie Restaurant by Vincent Chi-Wai Chiang Designer creates a comfortable with high privacy area with limited space for customers to have an enjoyable and relax moment. IE is a Japanese dining restaurant serving Sushi, Teppanyaki, also the after meal sake and cigar. The design is like a Western and Japanese mix baby, Art Deco at the a glance and the details of Japanese’s aesthetics in a closer look. This design leads a new design trend of the Food and Beverage industry. Beans Restaurant and Cafe by Vincent Chi-Wai Chiang Designer created an artificial crystal cave for the cafe. To match the brand theme of Beans Cafe, which providing a breathable place for people to escape from busy living, technique of light reflection and materials selection are applied. Cave also a protective shelter, customer feels safe and relax inside. Shining of crystal catches their eye and reminds them the good time in there. by by |
