Nima Keivani

Nima Keivani is an award-winning professional Iranian architect and university professor, who has found his own architectural firm,” Keivani Architects”, with his brother, Sina Keivani, Since 2009. He graduated in Ph.D. of architecture and master of architectural and urban heritage conservation. He was also the lecturer in different workshops and masterclasses in Europe and the Middle East and Asia universities and architecture associates.


Their designed Projects have been involved in various ranges of Architecture such as residential complexes, commercial buildings, and restoration of architectural heritage. Aesthetic, function, Genius loci and Vernacular Architecture have been considered in the base of their design process.


Nima Keivani practice has been concentrating on the spiritual dimension of architecture, in which the creation of meaningful, enriched, and innovative spaces is remarked as a significant task. Relying on their theoretical and practical experiences, his design team utilizes up-to-date methods and technologies to actualize the generated ideas, in which social, environmental and economic sustainability is in the core. His creativity and ideas are usually influenced by regional culture and environmental circumstances, which on a global scale, make their practice novel, unique, and useful for human society.
In his point of view, architecture should be considered in the urban context, so social sustainability and its relationship with the quality of urban spaces are one of the main subjects of his papers in journals.

Residenial by Nima Keivani

Pardis Kahneh Residenial by Nima Keivani The 9 stories building, inspired of Persian historical vertical gardens. The facade is a combination of a simple surface that completely encloses a volume by making diagonal section cut. Surface is a wooden lattice by pattern deign inspired by the metaphorically the cedar, the dynamic lattice is so flexible that can be opened or closed by users to adjust privacy. While the other surface is totally covered by turquoise stone, is a small garden in the lobby and back yard which is like a sunken courtyard and there is a roof garden with trees.

Villa by Nima Keivani

Kabootar Khaneh Villa by Nima Keivani A pure cube to minimize the impact on their surroundings that a sloping roof is installed hidden behind the walls, a part of interior space was dedicated for birds, inspired by historical dovecotes. The interior spaces is formed around the patio where the birds live, created cross-sectional play and level differences in the spaces, as well as design of the stairs inside it. Even the windows of the building were arranged according to the interior section game. Also inside the building, wood material has been used to create a sense of nature.

Villa by Nima Keivani

Chahar Gah Villa by Nima Keivani Chahar Gah in Iran, is situated in a territory on the western coast of the Caspian sea, a town called Anzali. A dwelling space wherein tries to invite surrounding environment neatly to inside and communicate eloquently. This building has tried to solve the visual boundaries between inside and outside and communicate with the changing seasons and adapt to it and use the natural process of air circulation for ventilation. At the same time its residents have a new experience of transparency and a free plan with have privacy and cozy places in the same time for better feeling change of seasons.

Lamp by Nima Keivani

The Home Lamp by Nima Keivani Creating a deeper connection between man and home is the conceptual goal of design. The use of copper metal, which inherently creates feels relaxed, is due to this concept. The user can control the light of the lamp with each touch of copper metal. The designer has been looking for deeper interaction with the lamp. four houses as a sign of the four main elements of life and soft and warm light which is in the center of them as a sign of consciousness, the type of light and shadow resulting from its combination with houses creates a feeling of Poetically space.

Boutique Hotel by Nima Keivani

Delbar Khaneh Boutique Hotel by Nima Keivani The interior merges the old with the new, elements meet functionality. The interior utilizes the existing brickwork and arched ceilings to frame a space that feels open yet intimate. Furnishings are selected for comfort and practicality, with a restrained palette that draws attention to the building’s original features. Lighting is strategically placed to highlight the textures and form of the space without overwhelming it. This design approach allows the history of the structure to stand at the forefront, providing a serene backdrop for modern living.
