The Cube Private House by Ahmed Habib To create a quality living experience and redefine the image of a residential building in Kuwait while maintaining the climate requirements and privacy needs dictated by the Arab culture, were the main challenges facing the designer. The Cube House is a four story concrete/steel structure building based on addition and subtraction within a cube creating a dynamic experience between internal and external spaces to enjoy natural light and landscape view all throughout the year. Next Hub Mixed Use by Ahmed Habib Next hub is an architecture and landscape integrated project in Jeddah that blends in different facilities including hotel, administration, entertainment, f and b and recreational zones. The designer wanted to create good views for the hotel and admin building because the project plot is not surrounded by any views, this was achieved by creating a dynamic composition of masses with respect to environmental, cultural and financial aspects creating good urban experience with visual and social interaction. Monolithic House Private Villa by Ahmed Habib To create a quality living experience and redefine the image of a residential building in Jeddah, while maintaining the climate requirements and cultural aspects including privacy and gender segregation, were the main design challenges. The designer conceptual idea was to explore the architecture relation between indoor and outdoor spaces, through a composition of three main masses that were shifted to create external courts inspired from Arabic traditional houses. Al Majlis Traditional Restaurant by Ahmed Habib Al Majlis is a famous traditional Saudi restaurant, presenting the essence of typical sixties experience in Riyadh. The designer conceptual idea was to implement the traditional exterior urban fabric inside using shifting modules to create dynamic composition of masses and walkways. To achieve this experience while respecting the cultural aspects and complicated operational needs were the main design challenges. Earthy colors, traditional patterns, natural materials, rustic effects and real pre-owned accessories were used to fully immerse users in an authentic experience. Essence of Faith Mosque by Ahmed Habib The Essence of Faith Mosque is a serene oasis in the desert, blending minimalism with spirituality. Inspired by the beauty of nature, the design features flowing lines & open spaces, inviting natural light to create a warm, peaceful atmosphere. Merging minimal aesthetics with traditional Islamic elements honors cultural heritage & fosters community engagement. Sustainable materials were used to reflect the earth's hues for environmental harmony. The design encourages communal gatherings and reflection, embodying a timeless connection between faith, nature & community. Oxygen Dubai Gym by Ahmed Habib Oxygen Dubai presents a bold architectural statement, merging industrial aesthetics with a distinctly masculine ambiance. Spanning 6,500 square meters and constructed with a budget of 30 million USD, the gym features raw concrete and black steel, embodying strength and resilience. This unique design fosters an environment conducive to intense workouts, appealing to fitness enthusiasts. Beyond its extensive workout areas, Oxygen Gym offers a comprehensive suite of amenities, including a restaurant, shops, spa, pool, garden, lockers, and changing rooms, enhancing the overall experience. Greystone House by Ahmed Habib The Greystone House in Jeddah showcases an innovative take on residential design, blending minimalism with nature's elegance. With its sleek lines and a refined palette of white, gray stone and wood, this home emphasizes spaciousness and natural light through large windows. A carefully crafted outdoor space boasts a wooden deck and cozy seating, promoting relaxation amid verdant greenery, highlighted by a central tree as a serene centerpiece. This project enriches living while honoring local climate and cultural values, ensuring privacy and seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Tropical Frame House by Ahmed Habib Tropical Frame House is a contemporary project in Kuwait, developed on a 600 sqm plot, redefining the relationship between architecture, climate, culture and human experience. A perforated volcanic stone envelope forms a protective frame that filters light, air, and views while reducing solar heat gain. Shaped by water, tropical planting, and shaded courtyards, a moderated microclimate emerges within. A glass bottom suspended pool allows natural light to pass through water into interior planting zones, casting dynamic reflections that animate the interior and deepen the spatial experience. Gold Souq Urban District by Ahmed Habib Gold Souq is a 356,000 sqm mixed-use urban district in Jeddah that redefines the gold market as an integrated urban system. Conceived as a continuous fabric, it brings together craft, commerce, culture, and hospitality within a clear spatial hierarchy. A central pedestrian spine anchors the development, extending into courtyards derived from Hijazi urban principles to form a legible, walkable experience shaped by shade, density, and proximity. Environmental performance is embedded in the urban form, where massing and open space support comfort, continuity, and a coherent urban identity. Siq Mixed Use District by Ahmed Habib With a construction budget exceeding 1.2 billion Saudi riyals, the project is conceived as an urban Siq where architectural masses rise like landforms while a shaded valley organizes pedestrian movement. The development is structured around three axes reflecting faith, trade, and stability, linking seven masses through shaded routes and open spaces. Terraced forms emerge from landscaped courtyards and shaded paths, while flowing canopies extend across walkways to provide climate protection and connect different parts of the project, forming a distinctive urban setting in Jeddah. |
