James is an independent designer currently living in Denver, CO. James won a 2020 A'Design Award for his Cornice clothing storage & display concept. In addition to furniture, James designs luggage and bags for Switch Designs, LLC, which he founded in 2016 to bring innovation and style to bags for the outdoors. James holds a design patent for a ski boot bag with a unique, transformational design, that was named the #1 ski pack of 2018 by Freeskier Magazine.
