Fish Migration Residential by TSAI DUNG LIN Migration was come up from a Chinese idiom - "like a fish in the water". It’s a metaphor we use that home is the only place that makes people feel at ease and peace. Infinity, the mathematical symbol, is an idea of interior flow that people can strongly feel like Fish Migration with the flow. With the use of black iron, concrete, and old woods to create different airflow, light, and extension of vision. Migration conveys the sense of simplicity and silence which also are represented the households’ lifestyle and living philosophy. Engawa Residential House by TSAI DUNG LIN Engawa Redefining Family Spaces in Traditional Japanese Architecture; Engawa, a distinct feature of traditional Japanese architecture, serves as a bridge between the interior and exterior spaces, blurring boundaries while delineating spatial functions. This architectural element has inspired a novel approach to family interactions, particularly in the design of middle rooms that seamlessly connect the living room, dining area, and study without spatial interference. Drawing from the structural essence of engawa, this innovative design provides ample family storage space. Meridian Massage by TSAI DUNG LIN The meridian system refers to both meridians and vessels. At the heart of this visionary project lies the captivating "mai walkways" – a creative representation of the meridians that gracefully traverse the space, connecting and energizing the environment. These walkways serve not only as a functional element but also as a symbolic conduit, fostering a balanced and flowing energy throughout the entire spatial experience. Inspired by this idea, merged the design concepts and space with the industry. |
