Seyedsajad JalalsadatMy name is Seyedsajad Jalalsadat, a 24 year old industrial designer passionate about creating meaningful, emotionally intelligent, and future-oriented products. I began my professional journey at age 15 and later studied industrial design at Tehran Markaz University. This mix of hands-on experience and academic training shaped my ability to merge creativity with real world function.
In 2023, I joined HOBO, where I work on innovative product designs that challenge norms and reflect deep cultural narratives. My core design philosophy is simple: “Feel your design as your life, be your product as you are.” I believe a designer should not just create but embody the product. My work focuses on the intersection of sustainability, aesthetics, and user experience. I strive to build products that aren’t just useful but unforgettable. Over the past two years, I’ve received international recognition, including a Bronze and Silver A' Design Award, a Silver New York Design Award, multiple IDA awards, and the BYAA and Kioskedia prizes in 2024 and 2025. I’m deeply interested in how design interacts with geopolitics, culture, and social systems. Through each project, I aim to ask deeper questions, provoke thought, and design with responsibility. Infinito Light by Seyedsajad Jalalsadat Infinito redefines outdoor and indoor lighting with its 360 degree rotatable head, eliminating the need for multiple fixtures by directing light precisely where needed. The waterproof design ensures reliability in all conditions, while its elegant infinity-inspired form merges aesthetics with functionality. Crafted with sustainable materials and innovative engineering, it creates eco-friendly and versatile lighting solutions, suitable for any environment requiring flexibility and style. Emerge Wall Light by Seyedsajad Jalalsadat Emerge embodies light as a symbol of human truth and freedom held within constraint. Enclosed inside a dense architectural volume, illumination is deliberately concealed, yet it persists and gradually forces its way outward through defined openings. The central vertical line marks the decisive breakthrough, where suppressed energy becomes visible. The design expresses the inevitability of presence, suggesting that even under absolute pressure, light, like truth and freedom, ultimately finds its path. |
