Sinem Tosunoğlu is an internationally recognized textile, knitwear, and designer with over eighteen years of professional experience in textile innovation, material research, and performance apparel. As the Founder and Creative Director of KUFOON Design Studio, she leads multidisciplinary design projects that merge creativity, advanced technologies, and sustainable thinking to develop innovative, functional, and commercially successful textile solutions.

Her expertise spans knitwear innovation, technical outerwear, sportswear, seamless garment development, textile material innovation, and product development. Working across the entire design process—from concept creation and research to material sourcing, prototyping, manufacturing, and commercialization—she collaborates with international manufacturers, suppliers, and fashion brands to transform complex technical challenges into refined, market-ready products.

Sinem’s work is driven by the belief that design should create meaningful value beyond aesthetics. By integrating advanced textile technologies, innovative materials, digital product development, and human-centered design principles, she develops products that enhance performance, comfort, durability, and environmental responsibility while responding to the evolving needs of contemporary lifestyles.

Her work has received international recognition through prestigious design competitions. Among her most significant achievements is receiving the ISPO Munich Best Product Award, where KUFOON Design Studio ranked among the Top 4 entries in the Jacket & Vest category, selected from more than 350 international submissions. This accomplishment reflects her ability to successfully combine innovation, sustainability, functionality, and timeless aesthetics into globally competitive design solutions.

K Marble Flow Performance Wear by Sinem Tosunoğlu-Kufoon Design Studio The surface design, inspired by traditional marbling art, is applied to a high density polyethylene performance fabric. Each pattern originates from handcrafted compositions and is digitally adapted to preserve its organic and non repetitive character. The lightweight, water resistant and wind resistant structure offers durability, breathability, and freedom of movement, creating a functional garment that balances artistic expression with technical performance.
